Yes, bikes can be shipped, but they fall into the category of "bulky item" which means that there is no free shipping on these purchases, due to the need to employ the services of a private shipping company to make the delivery. Thus, as a result, the shipping on bikes will generally cost more.
Please note that rates do not come from Decathlon directly but from our courier partners. These rates may change and as such, the rates indicated are just estimates. Your actual quote could be more or less than outlined in the FAQs. Our approximate bike shipping costs are:
Shipping ranges between $25 - $50 depending on your location and will be calculated at checkout.
(E.g. - Tempe to Marrickville will be closer to $25 but if you order to North Manly or Heathcote, it will be around $50)
The accurate delivery cost and ETA will be displayed in the checkout process, once you have selected your delivery address.

Q. What if I have multiple bikes delivered?
The website will automatically economise this best for you by not charging by piece but by weight, again, this will be shown to you at checkout depending on how many bikes you have ordered.
Q. What if I order a bike at the store and want it delivered to my address?
A. The same prices apply as above, the service is the same.
Q. What will I be charged for returns?
A. Return charges will apply as per the same prices. Let one of our Customer Happiness Officers know via email (at email@example.com) you need to return the bike and they will guide you through how to pay and have the product picked up.
Q. What if the bike arrives damaged?
A. We will have the bike replaced for you.
Q. How will I track my bike order?
A. Upon shipment you will receive an email from Allied Express with a tracking code, you can use it to track your order.
Q. Can I choose a convenient time of delivery? Will I get a call from the delivery company to tell me they are coming?
A. You will be updated through email and can track your order. I’m afraid we cannot commit to an exact time of delivery as this depends on circumstances beyond our control. The delivery company will not necessarily call you before attempting delivery.
Q. Can I request the product to be left at my door if I am not home?
A. Yes, you can do that directly with the delivery company. Decathlon or Allied Express do not assume any responsibility for the loss of such product in this scenario.
Q. What if I am not at home?
A. We would recommend you to be there as the tracking number would keep you informed of the attempted delivery. If no one is available to collect, the delivery company will attempt to reach you. If they are unable to reach you, the product will be returned to us and we may reattempt delivery at an additional cost.
