How long do I have to return a tested product?

  • You have 7 days to test any product for free. If you believe that the time period is too low, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid incurring late fees. 

I’m late. What should I do?

  • Please contact us as soon as possible to seek a review in order to avoid a late fee. You can contact us through contact.australia@decathlon.com

I am late. Will this cost me?

  • We would love to say no, however it is in the best interests of the company, as a preventative measure against theft or abuse of our services, to enforce a late fee. 

  • If you have failed to return the product after more than 7 days, from the beginning of the testing period, and have not attempted to notify Decathlon, you will be required to pay a fee.This fee is calculated at a rate of 20% of the recommended retail price in dollars, for each day past the due date. This fee will compound over the next 72 hours from the scheduled end of the testing period, but after this period, Decathlon will consider the product non-delivered, at which point you will be liable and shall pay the recommended retail price of the product as well as the fees incurred during the three days. 

Can I extend my testing period?

  • We would love to say yes to every request our customers make of us, because we at Decathlon strive to make all of our members as happy as we can, but sometimes we simply can't.
    We can’t extend the due date, because we believe it would be unfair to our other members should they want to test the same product. It also adds another layer of management to our testing system that we presently just aren't set up for.

Can I bring the product back early?

  • You are welcome to return the hired product early, simply bring the item to the Welcome Desk located at the entrance of the store you hired from.
